Rotational Crops

Good farming practices require rotational crops, including: Forage crops such as alfalfa and timothy hay. Sweet corn for human consumption and field corn to be generally used as a forage crop, ethanol production or grain feed. Various wheat and other grains. Crop rotation helps fight the forces of erosion. And helps to improve soil stability by alternating between crops with deep roots and those with shallow roots. Pests are also deterred by eliminating their food source on a regular basis.
